The Hanko Plinth Bed with Side Tables is the latest evolution of our Hanko bedroom series. This seamless, all-in-one design marries bed and side tables with one stunning stretch of solid wood headboard. Side tables float above the floor on either side of the plinth-style bed frame, and the effect is bold, functional and uncluttered. The integrated side tables create a monumental piece that still maintains a minimalist lightness, preserving our passion for clean lines and great details. 

Just like the original Hanko Plinth Bed, this bed echoes the same hand-crafted, solid wood construction, sturdy steel interior supports and recessed plinth base. The slatted platform sits 8-1/2" above the floor, allowing for a generous portion of the headboard to be exposed above the mattress.

Flanking side tables are optimized for mattress thicknesses in the 8"-12" range, and are ample but still streamlined at 15" deep by 20" wide. Solid wood drawer fronts, drawer boxes with soft-close/self-closing action, and open cubbies provide a balance of concealed and open storage. Each side table has a black metal grommet in the tabletop, as well as another grommet placed discreetly inside the table (behind the drawer and through the back of the headboard), so that wires for charging devices and other electronics can tuck out of sight.
