The Vollen Bench is minimal and multifunctional – it can be used as a seat or table, alone or as part of a collection of pieces. The piece is crafted entirely from solid wood and constructed using traditional shouldered lap joints. This bench is a personal favorite of ours, as it was one of the founding designs in our furniture collection.

The design was inspired by a traditional woodworker's bench built by Grandpa Vollen on Chad's side of the family that to this day stands up to everyday use at the family cabin. Simple and well-built, these are the kinds of heirlooms that inspire our furniture, which we design and make to be lasting and loved objects.
