The Farmhouse Modern Island provides a functional work surface with ultimate flexibility. This counter-height piece was conceived of as a freestanding kitchen unit that can be rolled out of the way, or into another room to double as a sideboard or casual spot to eat at while perched on low barstools, for example our Loft Barstools, shown here (sold separately). The piece also works great as a standing-desk or social centerpiece. Put two islands together to create a longer piece!

The Farmhouse Modern Series is defined by clean lines and solid wood and steel construction. Each material is used where it makes sense - steel for strength and durability, wood for warmth, beauty, and longevity. The island works well on its own, or with other pieces from the Farmhouse Modern Line. 

Pictured in solid oak whitewash and white powder-coated steel, the Farmhouse Modern Island is available in 5 wood finish options (walnut, oak, maple, oak whitewash and poplar whitewash) and 4 steel finishes (charcoal, natural, black and white).
